Serve up a stack of fluffy pancakes with this simple recipe. Serve these delicious rounds with a quick homemade chocolate sauce. They are perfect for a holiday or weekend breakfast.
Ingredients
1 cup flour
1 cup milk
2 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp soda
1 egg
2 tbsp olive oil
Chocolate sauce:
100 g chocolate
4 tbsp heavy cream
Preparation
- Combine all dry ingredients.
- Add milk, egg and oil. Knead the dough.
- Fry in a dry preheated pan.
- Make the chocolate sauce. You can either melt chocolate in a water bath, combine with boiling heavy cream, or simply break the chocolate, pour over heavy cream and heat it in the microwave.
- Serve hot. Add any fruits or berries.
