This charlotte recipe is a speedy dessert. The dough does not require special attention. The plums make it juicy and delicious and bake up beautifully – even the sourest ones turn jammy and sweet in the oven.
Ingredients
- 400 g plums
- 10 tbsp butter
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp baking powder
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tbsp sour cream
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 sprig of rosemary
Preparation
- Beat butter and sugar with a mixer until white. Add flour, baking powder. Continue beating, while adding an egg by egg. Add sour cream, salt and rosemary.
- Cut plums in half. Brush the baking dish with butter. Pour in the dough and spread plum halves. Bake in the oven preheated to 400° F (200° C) for 30–40 minutes.
