Potatoes with cheese is a classic combination. You can make this as a main dish sometimes for a lunch or dinner but can also be a side dish to any meat or fish. It’s perfect for parties too and it can be cooked all throughout the year. There is no season really for this recipe.
Ingredients
- 600-800 g young potatoes
- 200 g feta cheese
- 200 g sour cream
- 50 g dill
- 30 g green onions
- 3 tbsp butter
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Wash potatoes with a brush. Place in a saucepan with boiling water. Salt and bring to a boil over high heat. Cover. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 25-30 minutes.
- Chop dill and onion finely. Mix with sour cream and feta cheese. Add pepper to taste.
- Drain potatoes.
- Add oil to the saucepan. Cover with a lid. Shake the pan so that potatoes partly mix with the oil.
- Serve with feta cheese dressing.
