These tasty oatmeal chocolate cookies are so easy to cook! They make fantastic presents and store well for an anytime treat.
10 tbsp butter
8 tbsp flour
2 tbsp cocoa powder
1/2 tsp baking powder
10 tbsp oatmeal
4 tbsp peeled walnuts
3/4 cup brown sugar
100 g chocolate
1.Cut butter into small cubes and place in a deep bowl. Put aside at room temperature for 30 minutes.
2.Sift flour with cocoa powder and baking powder through a fine sieve into a separate bowl. Combine with oatmeal.
3.Blend peeled walnuts.
4.Add brown sugar to the bowl with butter. Mix until fluffy. Add egg. Mix again.
5.Gradually add cocoa powder and oatmeal mixture. Stir with a spatula. Add chopped nuts. Knead the oatmeal dough.
6.Cover a baking sheet with baking paper. Place the dough on it in small portions at a distance of 2 inches from each other. Bake for 10 minutes at 360° F (180° C). Remove the baking sheet from the oven. Transfer cookies to a wooden board and let cool completely.
7.For the glaze, melt chocolate in a water bath. Remove from heat. Dip each cookie into melted chocolate and place on a wire rack. Let the glaze solidify completely.
