Shrimp and Avocado Ciabatta

If you love shrimp and creamy texture of avocados – this is the recipe for you. It’s fresh, tasty and satisfying!


  • 1 ciabatta
  • 400 g raw shrimp
  • 2 large ripe avocados
  • 1 shallot
  • 1/2 red chili
  • 5 green onions
  • 10 sprigs of cilantro
  • 1 clove of garlic
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 1/2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1/2 tsp sesame oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 1/4 cup sesame seeds
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper to taste


  1. Slice ciabatta and brush with olive oil on both sides. Toast until golden brown. Cut a clove of garlic in half and rub slices of ciabatta.
  2. Peel shrimp and cut in half lengthwise. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add shrimp, salt and pepper. Fry for 3-4 minutes. Place shrimp in a food processor and blend into small pieces. Transfer to a bowl.
  3. Peel shallot and chop finely.
  4. Chop red chili, green onion and cilantro. Add shallot and greens to shrimp. Add soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir.
  5. Peel avocado. Mash avocado with a fork. Add lime juice and salt a little.
  6. Spread avocado puree over ciabatta. Top with shrimp mixture. Drizzle with olive oil.
  7. Fry sesame seeds in a dry skillet and spread on ciabatta.
