Vegetable bread

I love bread, its smell and taste. But what about doing it a bit tastier and flavorous?This recipe makes a tasty loaf filled with fresh zucchini, tomatoes, carrots, and cheese. The bread gets fantastic texture, and is packed with wonderful flavor.


  • 1 cup flour
  • 2 tsp instant yeast
  • 100 g butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 yolks
  • 1 small tomato
  • 1 small zucchini
  • 1 small carrot
  • 2 tbsp green beans
  • 2 tbsp pitted olives
  • 150 g hard cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Nutmeg
  • Sugar
  • Salt, black pepper


  1. Cut green beans in half. Dice zucchini and carrot and cook in boiling salted water for 5 min. Make a cross-cut on tomato and dip it into boiling water for 30 seconds. Then dip it into cold water for 2 seconds, cut into 4 parts, remove seeds and skin and dice. Cut olives into 4 parts. Dice cheese.
  2. In a large bowl, combine butter and olive oil. Add salt, black pepper, nutmeg, 1 egg and 1 yolk. Mix thoroughly.
  3. Sift flour into a bowl, mix with a pinch of sugar and yeast. Add this mixture to the oil mixture, knead the dough. Add vegetables and cheese, work it.
  4. Place the dough into in a lightly oiled cake pan and leave in the fridge for 60 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 365°F (185°C) and bake the bread for 45-50 minutes. Cool and serve with butter, tea or milk.
