Potatoes with Feta Cheese Dressing

Potatoes with cheese is a classic combination. You can make this as a main dish sometimes for a lunch or dinner but can also be a side dish to any meat or fish. It’s perfect for parties too and it can be cooked all throughout the year. There is no season really for this recipe.

Ingredients

  • 600-800 g young potatoes
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 200 g sour cream
  • 50 g dill
  • 30 g green onions
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • Salt to taste
  • Black pepper to taste

Preparation

  1. Wash potatoes with a brush. Place in a saucepan with boiling water. Salt and bring to a boil over high heat. Cover. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook for 25-30 minutes.
  2. Chop dill and onion finely. Mix with sour cream and feta cheese. Add pepper to taste.
  3. Drain potatoes.
  4. Add oil to the saucepan. Cover with a lid. Shake the pan so that potatoes partly mix with the oil.
  5. Serve with feta cheese dressing.
