If you love shrimp and creamy texture of avocados – this is the recipe for you. It’s fresh, tasty and satisfying!
Ingredients
- 1 ciabatta
- 400 g raw shrimp
- 2 large ripe avocados
- 1 shallot
- 1/2 red chili
- 5 green onions
- 10 sprigs of cilantro
- 1 clove of garlic
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 tsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1/4 cup sesame seeds
- Salt to taste
- Ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
- Slice ciabatta and brush with olive oil on both sides. Toast until golden brown. Cut a clove of garlic in half and rub slices of ciabatta.
- Peel shrimp and cut in half lengthwise. Melt butter in a frying pan. Add shrimp, salt and pepper. Fry for 3-4 minutes. Place shrimp in a food processor and blend into small pieces. Transfer to a bowl.
- Peel shallot and chop finely.
- Chop red chili, green onion and cilantro. Add shallot and greens to shrimp. Add soy sauce and sesame oil. Stir.
- Peel avocado. Mash avocado with a fork. Add lime juice and salt a little.
- Spread avocado puree over ciabatta. Top with shrimp mixture. Drizzle with olive oil.
- Fry sesame seeds in a dry skillet and spread on ciabatta.
