This Banana Avocado Chia Smoothie recipe is so creamy and tender, yet incredibly fresh with absolutely no added sugar. Chia seeds add plenty of thickness and texture to this smoothie, so if you want to get a kind of pudding rather than smoothie, just add more chia seeds.
Ingredients
- 3 tbsp chia seeds
- 3 cups almond milk
- 1 cup blueberries
- 2 small bananas
- 1/2 avocado
- 1 tbsp agave nectar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 pinch of cinnamon
- 2 cups crushed ice
Preparation
- Combine chia seeds and almond milk in a blender. Put aside for 10 minutes.
- Add the remaining ingredients and blend for 2 minutes. Add crushed ice, and blend for another 1-2 minutes.
- Pour smoothie into glasses and serve.
