Stuffed champignons are a simple and delicious appetizer that everyone loves. You can change the filling: add mushroom or minced meat fried with onions, chicken cubes or add more cheese.
Ingredients
6 large mushrooms
1/2 cup + 2 tbsp grated parmesan
3 slices of bacon
3 slices of cooked ham
1/2 cup bread crumbs
3 sprigs of parsley
3 cloves of garlic
Olive oil to taste
Salt to taste
Freshly ground black pepper to taste
Preparation
1.In a skillet heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil and sauté bacon until crisp. Transfer to paper towels and cool.
2.Toast bread crumbs in a dry skillet until golden brown. Cool and mix with 2 tablespoons of grated Parmesan.
3.Chop bacon and ham into small pieces. Chop parsley leaves. Cut out legs of mushrooms, they will no longer be needed.
4.Heat olive oil in a large skillet. Add crushed garlic cloves and fry mushrooms on both sides for 2-3 minutes, until golden brown. Transfer mushrooms to a baking sheet.
5.In a bowl, combine bacon, ham, parmesan and parsley, season with salt and pepper. Stuff mushrooms with this mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan bread crumbs.
6.Place mushrooms on the oven preheated to 400° F (200° C) and bake for 5-7 minutes. Serve hot.
